Nixon Watches eBay?

Are these watches fake or genuine? They retail over here at shops like Culture Kings and surf shops for $400 (over-priced), yet sellers on Australia Ebay with 100% positive feedback are selling them for $140-180. Usually if it's too good to be true then it's probably fake, but I have heard that Nixon watches are half price in the US and the sellers has 580 positive feedback. Comes with tags as well so I'm thinking they're genuine watches from America, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I say genuine. Nixon watches are inexpensive to manufacture and have a huge marketing budget to boost their appeal and allow Culture Kings etc. a huge markup.

    • thanks mate, ridiculous how high a mark up it is- almost $300 and the thing is they must be selling quite a few as they very rarely go on sale.

  • A Nixon watch is the perfect way for Shanayya to show Braden that she loves him on their 6 months post DVO anniversary. And buying it on eBay is easier than loading T'shanasha and Jayden in to the VN and risk getting caught driving disqualified (again).

OP, catch.com.au have some Nixon watches starting at $59.99. https://www.catch.com.au/event/new-nixon-ranger-watches-adde…

  • most things at culture kings are grossly overpriced

agreed, I meant in general though across all the stores in Aus- Surfstich, Citybeach, General Pants. Always laugh when Culture Kings think that a plain t-shirt and new era hat is some sort of deal at $80 haha

  • Hi mate I'm looking at purchasing from this seller. How's your watch going has it lasted. Did you get it checked to confirm if its legitimate?

    • Hey mate, I can't confirm if the watch is legit or not as I went off the design and decided to buy a different watch. IMO the feedback he has received is at 100% and he has sold more than 500 watches, if I were you avoid paying silly retail prices. Places like Culture Kings and the surf shops charging nearly $500 for these watches are ridiculous, they're fashion watches and apart from the looks offer nothing else for a watch this expensive. Would say pay $160 on ebay and if you're concerned that the watch is fake or not working properly I'm sure he offers free returns, or get a good deal when asos or the iconic have a site wide sale. good luck :)

  • Also stumbled upon this seller, 'nixon_australia' on eBay.

    Has anyone bought from them?
