TBH if your going to get security cams for the home, go the full CCTV setup.
There is no point of having a cam if you can't clearly see faces or number plates unless they are 2m in front of the cam.
This is your house and family security, don't cheap out on it!!!
I bought the HC 700 and couldn't make it send photos over mms. It is waterproof and solar powered and works fine otherwise.
