Find Me a Wireless Home Printer < $100

Im looking for a home printer, with the following features:

  • Wireless
  • Black & White and Colour with individual cartridges (so each colour can be bought separately according to usage)
  • Automatic document feeder (cassette) and Rear tray feeding
  • Automatic double sided printing
  • Not too bulky
  • Scan function
  • Less than $100

Preferably from TGG so I can use my concierge credits and use their 25% off printers promo. 2nd preference is JB HIFI so I can use my giftcard.

Was originally considering the Canon TS5060, but it doesnt have an auto document feeder/cassette.

Thanks

"Find Me"… I am not going to search myself… because?

    • "search myself"

I don't think anyone wants to know what you find in yourself anyway

I found one! It went thataway>>>>>

    • Is your fridge running?

  • Go to JB hifi or Kmart, too easy. Now a decent printer under $100 that lasts longer than the first lot of ink…. that's a mission.

    • Saw lots, but not ones with all the features (in stock anyway).

Thought some one here may have one or come across one.

Whatever you found in yourself, you should pull it out ;)

Ad hominem as a tool to find a wireless printer? Granted, that's new.

        • You being a new member of Ozbargain, wasnt sure if you understood of point of "find me a bargain" forum section.

You're welcome to write in each one of those threads "lmgtfy built in hooded bbq, lmgtfy go pro hero black, lmgtfy samsung j1, lmgtfy car" etc etc. But looks like you've only responded to me? You got a personal vandetta against me or something? Lol! Your lmgtfy wasnt even specific to match my specific preferences, so you failed on that, useless reply.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but as long as you have a wired or wireless network, you could always run any printer as a network printer. So as your devices are on the same network, you are all g.

    • As long as printer connected via ethernet not USB.

Hmm could actually work with current (though old model) printer. Most helpful reply, ta.

harvey norman… <25 bucks for a printer /scanner. buy 2… so when the ink runs out you can set up the second printer for less than it costs to replace the ink in the first printer. sad isn't it/aren't you/aren't we ?

    • Yes, but not Wireless (I want to print from phone), also not individua cartridges.

    • Thanks, but that's 3x my budget price and overkill for casual home usuage.

      • That's satisfied on all your requirements, so get a pay-rise :)

        • Haha, even if it's $50 it's too bulky, thus won't get it. I only print maybe twice a week.

          @Ughhh:
So you want pocket size MFP as well? wow, you are the type of person that want a 3 bed room house in Sydney for $100k as well (must be 5 min walking distance to the train station ?;)

I don't think you can get a printer for $100 which satisfied all that requirements which you after.
Perhaps try on gumtree for second hand.

        • @boomramada:

Well if you consider something like this
To be "pocket size"…Im the type that would call that regular home size…

          Who's the silly one now

I've actually found one. Fits my criteria and is it not 100+people office size type, nor your imaginative pocket size. $50. Cheers.

        • @Ughhh:
Well-done, next time do your own research first, although still over your budget.
Personally I'm not fan of inkjet or color, for color printing, that's what officeworks for.

        • @boomramada:

Was found after posting. I was after recommendations (and good priced) from informed users.

Perhaps you could suggest where/how to research the meaning of "bulky" and the "<" less than sign? Fyi $50 is <$100 ;)

Getting dressed and driving out to OW to print a page is a waste of time…

        • @Ughhh: better to just stay in your pyjamas all day and get strangers to do the legwork… where did you end up finding a printer? what type of printer did you get? any chance of helping someone else getting a good bargain..?

        • @Well Wasted:

A what boomramada considers a "pocket size" aka regular home non bulky size, from a chain store. Took a while to find one with individual cartridges though.

any chance of helping someone else getting a good bargain..?

          but…

better to just stay in your pyjamas all day and get strangers to do the legwork

No offence, but should I share the bargain or should I just link a "lmgtfy" or maybe link something that's not even what your looking for and accuse you of wanting a farrari for $10k.

        • @Ughhh: share the bargain? we are on ozbagain aren't we?

  • I have a wireless printer - love it to bits, but it only works when I plug it in, and it isn't wireless anymore.

    • Hmm hope the feeling is mutual, you should probably take it slow.

    • No, Im printing documents, hence document tray and auto duplex printing requirements in the description. Photo/picture printing is only occasional.
