SNES Mini Delivery Process from JB Hi-Fi

Just got an email from JB-HIFI advising they're sending out the SNES minis on the 28th September, the issue is they're sending them out and require signature on delivery and I've got mine being sent to a Parcel Locker address.

Anyone else doing this? Or has anyone else received items are parcel locker that required signature?

  • Unsure if true, but I'm pretty sure I ordered from JB HiFi once before and they used a courier, typically that means they don't allow Aus Post parcel lockers? I'm unsure but I'm guessing once they start getting ready to post you may get a message saying that you can't use a parcel locker address and ask you for a new one?

If it happens anything like last time I ordered from JB HiFi I put in my home address (which I wasn't home to pick up from since I was at work). And they gave me a card allowing me to pick up elsewhere (change location online). I picked it up from a Newsagency in Strathfield and just signed at the Newsagency (since they're open longer).

You might be able to contact JB Hi-Fi to find out what they'll use (which Courier) then call the courier and ask them where they're happy to drop it off too. Might be able to change your address to a Newsagency (or some couriers have parcel lockers) and be fine?

    Either way good luck mate!

    • JB Hi-Fi sent my mini NES via courier, probably the same for the mini SNES's.

  • +1

I pre-ordered a game a few months ago, and it got delivered last week via courier (Toll) - so it's unlikely you'll be able to get it delivered to your parcel locker. I'd contact them to update your delivery address if I were you

    • Or you'll get a random call from Toll asking you for an alternative address
