Penrite 10 Tenths Vs Valvoline Engine Armour

I have been using Penrite 10 Tenths Racing 10W-40 in my 98 MX5. Is it worth switching to Valvoline Engine Armour for the savings or just stick with the Penrite.

Thanks

  • I'm interested in upgrading my 28.8 kilobaud internet connection to a 1.5 megabit fibre optic T1 line. Will you be able to provide an IP router that's compatible with my token ring ethernet LAN configuration?

No Penrite is the best. Also Australian owned or made I think.

Penrite for sure. Few dollars not worth it.
Racing 10 has high levels of zinc for good protection. Buy some when on 30% off and stock up! I've got 5-6 bottles for my Subaru :)

    • I'll b3 trying some on my old Subaru

Depending on kilometres and how hard you drive. Try HPR5. Still good levels of zinc and bit thinner. Better protection starting up but not as good for hot days. If over 100k I'd go Racing 10. Or even full synthetic 10w-40

  • Personally I found my 13 year old VY Commodore quieter on Nulon Full Synthetic 10w/40 then on the Penrite 10 Tenths 10w/40. But that's just my car.

  • Thanks everyone. Except fruit. What a donger.

  • Penrite hands down !
