Hi, I am looking for an 1151 motherboard that has 3 x PCIE slots (need 1 slot for an intel LAN card, 2 slots for sata cards), at least 6 x sata ports + 2 x sata M.2 ports if possible. Would like the M2 to run in addition to the onboard sata if possible. CPU I would use the pentium 4560.
Am also looking at the B250 series motherboard but there are too many variants. B250M-Plus, B250M-K, etc etc. What do others think of B150M chipset?

Freenas.org has a good guide about hardware for NAS systems. If it were me, I would aim for ECC RAM, a CPU that can do AES-NI, and the cheapest board with a chipset they recommend that can handle what you need.
