I have just got an upgrade for economy to Premium in AirAsia flight for KUL to LHR. I had to pay only 499 MYRs to get this upgrade!!!! I am very much interested in signing up for my return flight as well but I am not sure whether I will get the upgrade for sure or not. Can anyone please tell me whether you have benefited from this service or not? What is chance of getting the upgrade for the return flight?

I am interested on the upgrade as well. I bought a return ticket (KUL - Seoul), i wanted to confirm the single trip, the return trip will decide later. Please inform are you able to upgrade for your return trip?
cfui_ling it is not necessary that you always get the upgrades. It is just that the chances depend on the available seats in premiums. We all know that premiums are rarely oversold. So you do have a decent chance for your try. In the worst case you will lose only some 4 or 5 dollars and the positives are so high.
yes my friends, it is an unique service of its kind. I have taken advantage of it several times with SAS and now they have partnered with Air Asia also. I have booked a ticket to perth and asked for upgrade from optiontown.wish me luck :)
sounds great!! i would appreciate if you tell me when did you get notified of the upgrade? is it 4 hrs before the departure or a few days ahead? also did you get notified by optiontown or Air Asia people?
