To stop seeing video advertisements, some time ago I set my ad preferences to text-only. However, today I appear to be still getting video ads on my pages. The provider seems to be Select Media (e.g. src="https://storage.selectmedia.asia/Campaign/Vueling.mp4").
I really want to support OzB but I don't want to see video ads. Any ideas?

Why do you want text ads when you can have no ads?
OP thinks it helps Ozbargain by showing ads, yet doesn't want any intrusive video ads. However, I don't think Ozbargain benefits either way unless you click on the ad?
Hard to tell. Those rectangle areas are sold in the programmatic space — some are CPM ads, i.e. paid when shown, depending on the visibility metrics (for example counted as view if visible on screen for 3 seconds). Most would be CPC ads though (i.e. advertiser pays when clicked). Sorry I am not sure the details.

…which I sometimes do. But I can't click on the ad if it isn't displayed.
Unfortunately the text ads options are broken. Until it's fixed, please either turn off the ads or put up with occasional image / video ads. What happened was that text-ads are options sent to Google's AdSense to force only text ads. However we have been doing header-bidding over the last couple of months so the same banner slot is competed by various exchanges — which most aren't going to honour the text-ads option.
Maybe we'll detect text-ads users and force to use AdSense rather than Pubmatic + Google AdExchange. That would be a bit of work.
