Stumbled across this when browsing an Xbox comparison site, for some reason the Russian site has all 3 versions much cheaper than everywhere else. Well Egypt store has these about $5-$10 cheaper but you need a Egyptian credit card.

Standard Edition 1,999 Rubles
Deluxe Edition 2,649 Rubles
Ultimate Edition 3,299 Rubles

To get this deal, you need to purchase Xbox Live Russian Ruble gift cards (Seagm.com, Plati.ru, Nilt.ru), I've purchased the Ultimate so I've had to purchase 3,500 worth of ruble gift cards which came to about $72. Redeem the gift cards via Microsoft and then make the purchase, when prompted for an address/phone number enter any Russian hotel address found in Google.

Difference between the editions are:

Forza Motorsport 7 Standard Edition – This bundle includes Forza Motorsport 7 and Preorder Bonus.
Forza Motorsport 7 Deluxe Edition – This bundle includes Forza Motorsport 7 and Preorder Bonus + Day One Car Pack and VIP membership.
Forza Motorsport 7 Ultimate Edition – This bundle includes Forza Motorsport 7 and Preorder Bonus + Day One Car Pack, VIP membership and Car Pass.

I bought the Ultimate as it also comes with early access to the game.
Much cheaper than Microsoft Australia and best deal at the moment if you don't want the physical disc.

Digital is also Play Anywhere so can be played on both the Xbox and Windows 10.

EDIT: I purchased the gift cards from Plati.com:
2500 rubles
1000 rubles

Total debited from my card was $72.75, so after paying for the Ultimate edition I ended up with 201 rubles (around $4) next for a future purchase. So in the end it's about $68 for the Ultimate which is pretty good!

      I wouldn't be buying that, would just stick to the Xbox Live gift cards and make the purchase from the Microsoft website.

      That's one of those dodgy sales where you log in with someone else's username and password to download the game. Almost certainly a stolen CC.

      When buying through the Russian site, just log in using your normal Australian account.
      You'll be prompted at some stage to add an address/phone number which you can just use a random Russian one.

        seagm.com says "XBox Live (RU) sold by SEA Gamer Mall is Region Locked to Russia, it can only used by XBox Live Account registered under Region Russia".
        But your saying just going to xbox.com changing region to Russia and signing in will work?

        Just wanna be 100% before I drop $70+.

          You don't need to change the region of your Xbox account.

          Go to the Microsoft page above that you want to purchase, click on the purchase button.
          When prompted just log in to your normal Microsoft/Xbox account.

          There will be some prompts to add the gift cards, then one of the final steps is to add an address and phone number.

          Once this is all done you can purchase from the Russian store anytime with gift cards.
          My Microsoft accounts has about 7 other countries linked to it.

    Yes it is dodgy. You are buying an account with the game loaded onto it. They require you to make that your home account.

    Have bought that about several days ago, and also used to pre-order NBA 2K18 for only $22 in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia。 Just simple changed region in the setting of console. It will be better that you have a global credit card.

        Geez. I only made it to try and help people… I tried to make it for people who have never done it before so it touches on comparing prices, finding and buying cards, redeeming your card on a foreign Xbox site and getting your game. If you've done it before and don't have to explain shit then yeah, it's easy.

        So sorry to inconvenience you in my attempt to help people save some money.

    Is nilt.ru a trustworthy site? Price for the cards works out slightly cheaper then plati but never heard of them before.

      Haven't used them before but I think to pay the lesser amount with Nilt you have to have an account with Webmoney which seemed a lot of extra to do.
      To pay with a credit card on Nilt, when you go to the payment page the price goes up to about 3,300 rubles which is pretty much the same as Plati… well at least it did for me.

    Mate, thank you so much for this. Worked out to be ~$AU 73.39 on my end (I used my commonwealth mastercard to pay for the gift cards). Still WAY cheaper than buying it from the Australian Microsoft store though, it's like $AU 139 if you want to buy it directly from the store and around ~$AU 112 ish if you buy it from cdkeys.com (with 5% off Facebook coupon)

    I'm a fan of racing games and Forza Horizon 3 has become my new favorite racing game of all time. So I'm really excited for Forza 7 even though I know it's going to be more on the simulation side of things instead of the arcadey style that Forza Horizon 3 offered.

    Can I just ask what bank you guys are with and did you choose the debit/credit card payment option? I've been trying for about 2 hours now and keep getting rejected with paypal on seagm.com and card FREQUENCY withdrawal limit on plati, also got rejected on nilt.ru. I have no idea why this is happening as I have more than enough in the accounts and a way higher daily spend limit.

      That's really weird, yeah I'm using commonwealth mastercard, you can see my comment above ^^.

      I bought both 2500 credits and 1000 credits from:

      After buying the 2500 credit with my mastercard, I tried to buy the 1000 credit right away and got rejected. Apparently I had to wait about 10-15 mins before making another purchase with my debit card and after about 15 ish mins of waiting I bought the 1000 credit, no problem.

      Got the keys straight away and I redeemed both of them already.

      Don't know if this helps but yeah, good luck mate.

        I bought the two gift cards by adding them to the cart and pay for them at the same time. It will probably help for those with the frequency issue.

          That's what I first tried and got the error. I've just tried again and still a no go, using ING Visa so going to switch to my Commonwealth MasterCard tomorrow and see if anything changes :/

    Just bought two gift cards and redeemed them without problems. There was one tricky bit though, when I redeem the second card, I was asked to put in an address before I can proceed. I filled in the address after looking up google. Other than that it was smooth sailing (with the help from the comments and the instructions on youtube from AngryAlfred).

    I have tried to buy xbox gift cards (RU) from Seagm.com, Plati.ru, Nilt.ru with no success. Nilt is out of stock, Plati tells me that I have exceeded the frequency, and seagm tells me that the payment attempt was rejected.

    I have used paypal and then credit card with seagm, 2 different cards with 2 different banks with plati but no luck.

    Has anyone else encountered any similar errors and how did you get past them? I feel like using two different cards, with two different banks and then using Paypal with another completely different bank account might work, but all three seem to be rejecting buying these russian gift cards :(

      Yes that kept happening when I was trying to use both my Visa cards but It worked with my MasterCard.

      Just thought I would update this post for anyone having the same issues.
      Pretty much I just switched over and used Microsoft Edge and everything worked fine. No issues with any sites or payment methods, it just went through ok.
      So clearly Chrome is stopping the payments as part of a security protocol, but Edge worked fine.

        Edge (or IE) didn't work for me - the live chat agent told me it was because I tried too many times and it locked my account and to try again in 24 hours…but wouldn't answer when I asked why it did it the very first time I tried.

    Just got this to work, had a number of issues but I'll list the resolutions here:

    (I used plati)
    Payment - This will take time, used a VISA CC and it took about 30 minutes to confirm.
    Keys - they will be under "Purchases" tab on the payment page once the payment has gone through, one was a txt file the other just a code on the page.
    Key redemption - One asked for full Russian address (Sorry Hilton Moscow) and one did not
    Chrome - Buying the game in chrome didn't work, after hitting pre-order it would attempt to bring up the payment page and fail with just a grey box like the page was meant to start a payment frame but didn't. I used edge instead, copy pasting the fields into translate.google.com to understand the page.
    Paying with the keys - After hitting pre-order they allow you to enter keys during this process to top us your MS account.

    Hope that helps, checked my XB1 and my PC and both ends say I own it and the relevant DLC. (Bought the ultimate)

      Yeh I use seagm quite a bit for gift cards.
      Your number would mainly just be if they need to send you a message with a code to confirm/finalize an order.

      Seagam must be out of 2500 ruble codes. I used it just before to get a 1000 ruble code and it was instant and worked fine but 2hrs later I try to get a 2500 + 1000 ruble codes and it just says payment rejected. My friend also tried to buy and was rejected.

    Took a while to process the payment (okay so 5 minutes is a long time when waiting impatiently)
    Then after the codes came, bought the game using them, I couldn't download the game. Switched the xbox back to Australia, turns out there was a store update. Sure enough worked fine after the store app updated.

    I bought the currency and everything, get to the purchase page and it says unable to complete, contact microsoft store. Have a russian address and everything in there. Did previously have the ultimate edition preordered but they refunded that (order in the usual NZ store, dont know why the refunded it, they just said to purchase it again). Now I just have like Russian currency in my account which cant be used, wasted $80 on it.

      Doesnt work for any game actually, when trying to purchase any game off the russian store gives the error, has anyone else had this? Might just have to cut my loses and rebuy (not sure why it was refunded in the first place) through the NZ store, lesson learnt 😉

        It looks more like that they've gone up to their normal prices. 3999 Rubles is what regular new releases usually cost on the a Russian store, and that's what the base Forza 7 now costs. I'm not sure why It was so heavily discounted. Very grateful though.
