  • Has this mini spit roast been sold before? If so, can anyone provide any feedback on it?

Bought one last year- does the job- wish there was more height adjustability, though the ones at Bunnings seem the same in this limitation.

    • Looks identical to the ones that are sometimes on special at Big W for as low as $50, maybe look for reviews of that one too. Think that one is reduced at the moment as well but maybe not that low.

Due for a new BBQ that looks like a cracking deal.

  • How does the BBQ compare to similar priced at Bunnings, Big W, BBQ Galore.
I hate mine, it takes ages to BBQ anything.

    • Beefeater is the best. Wait for some promo, they are often free with an air conditioner etc, then they are on gumtree a few months later.

  • OP- can you provide us with a photo of the pizza oven?

Anybody know if this is capable of natural gas connection?

  • Some do not support it (a few ebay ones I've seen)

  • Any review for Pantera portable BBQ

  • Merged from Gas Bottle Safety Gauge $19.99 @ALDI from 30/9/17

Seems like a decent price for a gas bottle safety gauge.

    Easy to install
Prevents early cylinder exchange and wasting LP gas
Emergency shut-off in the event of a major gas leak
Glow in the dark level indicator

    Prices elsewhere for something comparable:
    *eBay $30.00
    *SuperCheap Auto $30.99
    *Bunnings $38.60
    *BCF $42.99

I reckon these are great - the only issue I've had is with people who don't know how they work. I've had people complain that the gas bottle is empty, or in one case actually pull the gauge (ie the round needle window thing) itself off trying to get it to work….

For those who don't know, you just open the gas bottle valve as normal, then press on the gauge window to let the gas flow.

    • I purchased this one last time, the quality is poor. Left is on the gas bottle, it shows empty bottle. However, the test shows the full of the bottle after taking it off.

I bought one of these a few years ago.
It does the job, no complaints here.

      • Same here. Does a good job and protects against a slow leak. As @PlasticSpaceman notes, they can confound anyone that hasn't used one before or hasn't read the instructions.
