I just went yesterday to a BP petrol station ( To utilize the AMEX offer :-) ) and got a temporary BP card with this offer

How it works

If you are not a Velocity member

Pick up a BP temporary card and swipe before paying for your purchase.
Join: Join Velocity for free and register your BP temporary card within 48 hours.
Earn: Continue earning Velocity Points with your BP temporary card until your Velocity membership card arrives.

If you are already a Velocity member ( 500 Bonus is not valid but you can earn points on each spend)

Note: Not sure of the category, so selected Financial. Please suggest corrections. My First post. So really excited.

What AMEX BP offer? Hasn't the last one expired already?

Besides, I think the 500 extra points is the usual offer, and not actually a deal.

This won't be on offer for much longer, as Woolies petrol is going into partnership with BPs and they will be converting to Woolworth's rewards instead
