This is an advertisement, not a deal and is just a link to a dodgy groupon site..

    • -1

      Hi Maz,

Its not fair, to call us dodgy.

We are a legitimate business, trying to get the best deals out to our consumers.

We would appreciate a feedback, if you've bought any voucher from us, however would request to not comment otherwise.

Trust you understand our concern, we really work hard to manage partners and get the best deals (its hard work, trust me). Such remarks with no basis really hurts the VS team.

Hoping you'd respect our work and if you have a feedback to share, you're welcome to write to [email protected] we take good effort to listen to our customers.

      Mighty thanks

      • Not saying your business in anyway is dodgy.. You're just linking to a glorified groupon site.

          Hi Maz

Voucherstore is not associated with Groupon or any other business. We are Melbourne based and the entire team works hard each day to get new partnerships and the best possible deals.

We are a budding startup, request you to give us an opportunity to serve you and everyone out here looking for discounts. We will endeavor to get the best outcome.

Please transact with us and then vote for us accordingly. Just a genuine request.

Appreciate you writing to us and your concern. Thanks :)

I don't see the disclaimer or any obvious statements which state you are a reseller/ 3rd party.

reading the description would lend people to the idea that you are the dentist.

          you're just the on-seller.

you should be updating the description at the start to state that you are selling the voucher.

and the title - "Coupon for Up to 56% off on Dental Services (Maidstone Vic) @ Voucherstore.com.au"

          @altomic:

Great suggestion, will do that right away. Thanks

        • @altomic:

Exactly.. Anywho, isn't that just glorifed sockpuppeting?

        • @Maz78:

          Hi Maz,

I am really amazed, after repeated requests and mention to our hard work to get such deals. You are still fiercely critical without even using our services.

        • +1

          @Mudasar:

How is it hardwork?! You're just advertising the coupon/groupon site!!
It would look less conspicuous had you just posted the deal for Ozbargainers without a link to the coupon site.

        • +1

@Mudasar: Member Maz78 is correct. It is a matter of record you are no stranger to sockpuppeting here.

          This deal is not published.

        • @PJC:
Ofcourse, we understand the guidelines of Ozbargain now and completely adhere to it.

These were our initial attempts when we didnt understand the pros n cons, we learnt from it and came out better. We are learning each day.

We've moved on for the better, so please consider that.

I would respectfully defer that Maz78 is incorrect, cause this deal is posted on our website, the website which we have built ourselves and still working on it. Not associated to any other business he's mentioned.

We have real people working here, building a completely new platform (melbourne based, Australian owned company) and wish to grow to serve better, all our efforts and energy is directed to this goal.

There is hardwork, our business development managers talk to new merchants each day convincing them, for the need to provide discounts and sign up with us to showcase their vouchers on voucherstore.com.au. Here we have a team who is working hard to get these deals for you.

Please use our vouchers if you think they are saving you money, after you use them give us feedback if there are any concerns or when you feel the transaction was positive. When you use our service and give us feedback, it helps us improve. And we help merchants to serve the customers by sharing your feedback.

Being critical to the point of providing constructive feedback, is so essential and request please dont undermine the efforts of people working for Voucherstore.

      • … however would request to not comment otherwise.

Member Maz78 and everybody else is entitled to comment. At OzBargain every deal post gets scrutinised, including those submitted by Moderators and even scotty.

costs me about $45AUD to get a full check up and clean in Japan. To get 2 silver fillings replaced with ceramic caps cost me $100 and about 5 visits. Just sayin'

    • Hi,

This is so true, Dental services overseas is so much affordable.

When i told my dentist here for a quote that he gave me, " i could fly back from overseas and appoint the best dentist there & I would still manage to save some money compared to your invoice". He was shocked, Haha.

We realized health services needs our special focus to avail discounts to consumers here in Australia and we managed to get this one. We understand its importance, to save some money.

We'll try to get some more as we go, definitely.

Thank you for sharing your story with us.

      • He wasnt shocked, he knows. Its been like this for a few years and its unfortunate the dentists and medical associations are at the mercy of big insurance. theyre filling their accounts, and im sure if we had better reform and less of a mafia insurance system in australia, it would be much more affordable and appropriate.

Sorry to crash your post too, I do hope your business thrives as you open up to other potential. have you considered linking and referring to overseas services?

Wait is this just straight up cash? That is cheap!

when I lived in Japan I got a bridge done for $80. a heap of work for sweet F.A.
Japan has health care service well sorted.
to run your own medical centre in Japan you have to be a qualified Dr/Dentist/Etc. no third rate business person trying to run a business to suck money out of people for that necessary service.

I was in Japan in June, if I have known I would have include a dental visit during my trip! Only knew about cheap dental in Vietnam as a friend had root canal treatment at a fraction of the price compare to here. Will consider visiting Vietnam next year for a holiday and dental work.
@DarthAntz is capping done in one visit?

      • No, the insurance policy in Japan is 40 years old, and because of it, they drag it out over 2-3 visits. so it would probably take 2-3 visits, but if you make an enquiry you may find a dentist that will offer you same day visit and capping.

yes @nightelves, straight up cash money. ive walked out of doctors and dentists with bills for $4-6. But i must say that i am on a work visa here and i do have insurance, it would cost more as a tourist (but still not as much as a regular Aussie, ripe for the gouging).

Japanese dental associations are well aware of travellers looking for dental work done overseas, and are really starting to open up, as vietnam, mexico and other SE asian countries offer big jobs done with highly qualified medical practitioners. THe difference in Japan is you'll have a very high standard of quality care and there is often a lot of good technologies that make the job better. However as my opening sentence, there is not much improvement in the insurance policy for dentists to operate, so there are still a lot of common dentists that do a great job, but the practice reminds you of a dental procedures in the early 90s. I can give you referrals for english speaking dentists in Fukuoka and Nagasaki. Come on over and get some big jobs done. Definitely get a clean while you're here.

Support good health systems, and better yet, take excellent care of your teeth and the teeth of your children. its not that difficult.
