This scarve is linen, it doen's have fabrics.
If it is truly linen, then your description is wrong. I just did a google search for "qualities of linen" and this is the result:
Linen is a very durable, strong fabric, and one of the few that are stronger wet than dry. The fibers do not stretch, and are resistant to damage from abrasion.
I've got linen bedding, so I know what it feels like. I also just did a quick search for linen scarves and they are typically over $100, so your pricing is almost certainly not for linen. I call BS on this bargain.
