Bank@Post - Deposit via EFTPOS/Visa Debit

Hi all

Does anyone know if you can deposit via Bank@Post with a Visa Debit or EFTPOS card or is it cash only?

Thanks

  • What are you wanting to deposit?
Your card tells the post office where to put your cash.

  • I want to move money from one account to another, just seeing if I can avoid an ATM fee by withdrawing cash and then paying it back in. Would transfer online but I need the deposit to reflect fairly quickly.

    • +1

You can withdraw cash from one account via BankPost, then deposit cash to another.

    • Have you ever withdraw cash at supermarkets and not getting charged? not not then you won't be charged at auspost, since it's treated as an Eftpos instead of ATM transaction
And you can't deposit money directly from any card

  • You would have to withdraw it and then deposit it. Be careful because there may be fees involved depending on your bank. I am fairly certain that they don’t offer a transfer facility.

  • The answer to your question is cash only

  • Cash and Cheque.EFTPOS deposit no longer available.
