Hi. Im looking to buy ipad pro 12.9 512gb for my parent. Yes i have a lot photo to put in so this one should be long time use.
Is it better to buy through the plan or out right ? And with contract plan, is the device lock with the network ?
P.s i dont mind 2gb/month since i not gonna use it anyway. Mostly wireless at home

Hey not sure if you bought one yet, but to answer your question regarding if it's network locked no, even if you get it on a plan.
If you're looking to buy it outright, I found this one on eBay and until the 23rd of October, you get a 20% discount with the promotional code PLUG20. So it's $1388 for the 512GB version.
In terms of plans, Telstra have one for about $86 on their small plan.
If you can afford it, it's always better to buy it outright then get a BYO plan or prepaid.
