I'm after a replacement key for my 2002 Prius.
I've found a blank that I think will work, any suggestions for where I can get it cut cheaply? I tried a Mr minit and they quoted around $100, including the blank, but that seems outrageous.
Note that I can reuse the transponder from my existing keys.

My current key has snapped, so i have the transponder.
Yeah thats just crazy then for a key + cutting. Keep looking.
For a key + transponder + cutting $100 would be a good price.
Something sounds off there. I had Mister Minit do a replacement transponder for $100 (with the existing metal key part) and another one for $120 that was the entire unit (transponder and metal key part).
Correction, it was a 'cobbler plus' in Chadstone.
Just called mr minit, they quoted $170 with a transponder, and they can't do what i'm asking.
Was mr mint quoting you a blank or a new key/transponder. As it sounds the later.
I'm confused….. You have a transponder (that is part of the key), but no key?
