I'm a frequent traveler and sometimes will work oversea for more than 3 months without coming back to Malaysia. I have been with Amaysim for more than 4 years now, I I'm not sure whether any plan out there can provide similar service. If I'm in Australia, I will use the Unlimited plan to support my normal calls and data usage, once I leave Australia I will switch it to Pay As You Go with international Roaming. Sometimes when there's a promotion from Kogan or Ovo, I will switch my Amaysim to Pay As You Go and use the bargain $1 card as my main number.
My requirement is below:
- No Lock-in
- Low rate to maintain my number when I'm oversea for several months
- International Roaming support (Need to receive SMS for bank or 2-Step token)
- I can change to other plan when I come back to Australia
- I can top up more data if I need to
- Low rate international call from Australia
- Good coverage (On Optus 4G)
