Apparently it's 5.8GHz, there's less interference on that spectrum. However that isn't to say that it's better than any other 5.8Ghz phones available. (There's a few around now)

Normally price updation does not mean a bargain and this site is for bargains and not for advertisement.
Will spread a bad word than good.Secondly, I own exactly same phones (WDSS5355+1) and everything was good, except, the volume and phone book silver dial, stopped working just after the warranty was over. So I cannot open the phone book, neither can adjust call volume or ringer volume on phone. On the whole, they are useless for me. Rest the no. pad works. I am now opting for a new Panasonic phone.
The look of the phone is glossy and quite impressive. but performance wise, I am not happy with it.

The price of electronic goods will always comes down as the product gets older and replaced by new model. If you start posting just because the product is getting cheaper (nationally), then what's stopping you from posting everything from TV to fridge, to washing machine and kitchen appliances?
Sorry, but it has to be a neg from me. I don't want to see OzBargain gets flooded by "nationally available permanent price reduction" announcement.
Can't say much about Uniden. Bought the usual 2 x handset combo from DSE and after 2 years of very little use, the main base station just stopped working. Of course the warranty was only 12 months. Rubbish!
