I was told that AmEx had not renewed the contract. Annoyed and embarrassed. You would think that AmEx would tell you. Cannot ring them as oseas and they have deleted their Email and live chat functions.

Thanks, great info there and interesting comments. Although this was a minor perk, I don't like to see any perks removed. And it comes hot on the tail of substituting a return Virgin flight, that included flying to NZ, with a smaller value travel credit. I never used the SKSA free trolley service either, and I am guessing that that has also been removed.
