Xiaomi Robot Vacuum Error 18

Hi guys,

Since this robot cleaner is very popular amongst ozbargainers I have bumped into a issue tonight.

My vacuum has been running well for 2 months and was purchased with Shoppingsquare deal a few months ago.

The vacuum now gives me a error 18 which indicates the fan is blocked. Unfortunately it asks me to reset which I have many times to no avail.

Has anyone had this issue?

Is the fan blocked? Filter blocked?

      That's the point. It's not somewhere I can open and check? Only way is to dismantle the whole thing which isn't really what I want to do.

      @Michaelz101: you have to dismantle the unit to check the filter and check if air is blowing out the back?
