Westpac Online Banking Login Help

I am having trouble with Westpac online banking from my laptop, trying to sign in but when click on sign in dosnt load up correctly for me to enter my details. I am running windows 8 with Bitdefender and Windows firewall. I have also run Malwarebytes and all coming up clean. I have called up Westpac and have been told no issue from them. Any help, advice would be appreciated.

UPDATE : I have reinstalled firefox and fixed issue but had no such luck with chrome even after reinstall still having same issue (chrome). I have no idea how to reinstall IE( or refresh it)

UPDATE 2 : Turns out bitdefender was over protective and blocking the site DNS and admin access to my modem, as soon as I disable protection and restart network everything working as normal. Thankyou to all ozbaragainers for help.

  • perhaps disable adblocker extentions.

    • tried that didnt help

  • What browser are you using?

    • I have IE Chrome and FF and same issue with all of them.

  • Try clearing the cookies, restart modem, restart computer.

    • tried all this

    Try upgrade to windows 10.

or, you probably need a 80k high yield investment car to access the site.

  • Here is a direct link to the Westpac Login page
    https://banking.westpac.com.au/wbc/banking/handler?TAM_OP=lo…

  • Download the Westpac app for your phone. At least you will be able to access your account while you investigate your PCs issues.

    • I have issue with my hands typing on Pc hard enough mobile phone is not really an option

      • Sorry to hear that bud, hope they get better soon:)

You must use the mouse to select the password characters one by one to log on to Westpac (to stop keyloggers recording your typing).
If you are typing the password it won't work.

Do yourself a favour, download and install this:
    https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Then try again using Firefox, via the link Jelko posted above:
    https://banking.westpac.com.au/wbc/banking/handler?TAM_OP=lo…

Also, you said there's something wrong with your hands. Make sure you're typing your customer ID correctly.

    • I cant get to that option to enter my details thats the issue

      • Right. Not a typo then, got it.
Try installing the latest Firefox as per the first link I sent you. After that, go to the second link I sent you (credit to jelko).
If that's still not giving you the login screen (with the customer ID field, and westpac's shitty "secure" on-screen keyboard… Well, I'll be surprised :)

Just post your banking details and one of us will log in for you and let you know your balance etc

Do you have a screenshot of your issue?

    • Yeah, take a screen shot (of the WHOLE screen) and upload it to http://www.imgur.com - Then post a link here.

Wouldn't the Westpac Customer Support line be the most appropriate avenue for a resolution for the Westpac website?

    • I have called up Westpac and have been told no issue from them.

Mind you, the person who may actually be able to help, may be down in the car park comparing high yielding investments.

  • I can login. Just a stab in the dark, Have you tried incognito mode?

    • that dosnt help still trying to reslove issue on chrome

  • I have no issue logging into Westpac using Chrome and windows 10

  • Check your add-ons or maybe force desktop mode.

Otherwise no idea could be something firewall or isp related.

Give me your login details and password and I'll figure it for you.

Can you tether your phone to make sure it isn't an ISP issue?

Next step is to upgrade your computer to a windows 10…

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/318378/how-to-repai…

Another thing is to make a new account on your computer to make sure it isn't a weird setting issue…

Or if you have a mate who lives nearby, call them and ask them to come by with their laptop and try from there. I suspect it's an ISP issue given you've presumably been able to get in before. Unless Westpac have recently updated their website and they no longer allow outdated OS's to access their website.

    • thanks will try option 2 fix ie

    • Who the heck is going around negging posts?
