First time. so be gentle guys.
1. login to your hilton honors account
2. search for rooms around xmas for Hilton Gold coast. ($209 a night) for a standard room from Dec 11 to 23 Dec
3. Using the winter escape promotion, if you book two nights, you get 100 credit to spend on food drinks etc
4. Pay by amex to get another 120 off using this specific offer
5. So (209*2-120-100)/2=$100 a day for a 5 star hotel during xmas!!! not bad at all!!

If you are a gold or diamond hilton honor club member, you also get room upgrade to next level.

Also if you are a hilton gold member, you get free breakfast and second person stays for free as well.

Combine this with double points promotion you get double points for your stay as well.

Again as an ozbargainer, how could i forget cashrewards for a further 2.5% off!!

  The $100 credit is for food and beverages, so this will not reduce your accommodation charges - which makes your numbers a little misleading, as accommodation would come down to $298 ($149 a day). $100 credit for F&B at the Hilton for 2 may not get you far (YMMV).

        gold members get breakfast and maybe lounge access, diamond member gets both breakfast & lounge access, the $100 credit could be used on restaurant and in room dining.

    I think it's a bit harder than that as the prices vary on weekends and other days..I got $237 per night on weekends and $261 on busy nights.

    Maybe: $298 for 2N (Weeknights or $354 on Weekends) + $100 Dining Voucher @ Hilton Gold Coast (using AMEX Credit Offer)

    this price is for normal Hilton,the timeshare apartment is called Hilton Surfers Paradise Residences, which is located on higher floor and comes with higher rate.

  The terms and condition states that the Hilton deal is not available for PREPAID rates.
  So does that mean this deal will not work as it is a prepaid rate?

  If you have this offer on multiple cards, you can book multiple 2 nights. eg 2 cards = 2 nights * 2 = 4 nights, 3 cards = 2 nights * 3 = 6 nights etc. You just have to tell the front desk that you booked multiple nights of two, so you don't need to check in and check out and they keep you in the same room.
