Sodas are cheap in USA because they use locally produced high fructose corn syrup, and they have loads of it. Their government has subsidies for corn.
There is no high fructose corn syrup in our Arizona, we use real sugar!
OK but Australia has a large sugar cane industry that enjoys generous government subsidies also.
