    Its not online multiplayer only , theres an online solo story mode thats well worth it and loads of people playing during the outbreak events now

        He meant multiplayer and while its true it has dropped lots you still get games and theres people in the pvp darkzone all the time

    The online isnt dead. I always run into people in the dark zone, can always find a game of survival and there are always people wanting to do the incursions. And like qwerty said, just the solo section is completely worth it.

    You can just play the solo missions, they are still a lot of fun. I had shit as internet when i played it and it still worked great, only very occasional bits of lag.

  Playing this currently with a mate. If you have friends it's not dead. We're having a great time now that we've hit level 30! Paid $18 for it and have decided to buy the season pass for another $19. On 45 hours now and can't complain at all.

  Have only used matchmaking once and don't play any of the pvp content so can't comment on either.

  Have a mate and you're both looking for a game to play coop? Get this!
