Telstra $30 Sim Packs - Uses for It Now That Google Play Credit Has Been Disabled

Hi,

Seems that as of 13/9 you can no longer use the Telstra $30 sim starter packs to buy google credit. I have 6 of them to be registered and wondering what I can use them from apart from the standard mobile data and calls.

Anyone have an idea.

Thanks again

    mobile data and calls.

    that

Like what it has originally been intended: calls/text/data.

  • Yeah I would just activate when there was a particular bunch of apps I wanted to grab for the kids…then let it lapse, any leftover would pay for netflix for the month. Already have contract phones for family members so extra data packs are not needed.

Might just chuck them up on ebay then unless anyone has some clever uses for them. thanks

Would selling them at a higher price be clever as such?

      • Yeah I know it is but I'd much have preferred to use them for apps but since that's not an option and netflix no longer works and no one has a workaround or alternative looks like ebay it is… still open to suggestions in the interim.

  • Do you know anyone with a grandfathered plan? If so you may be able to start on long life and Creditme2u the funds over for them to use.
