I'm looking for a good deal on a small tent for myself, my fiancé, and our puppy :)
We have looked at the Blackwolf 240 and were impressed, but the price was $1400 OMG.
We only want to camp for two days (weekend) occasionally this summer.
Any good sales on? Any other brands maybe that are good strong material (canvas) and very very easy to assemble and pack up :)

These two requirements are generally mutually exclusive. Canvas is thick and heavy and painful to maintain.
Modern ripstop nylon is far superior.
Coleman Instant Up Gold 4P or 6P should meet your requirements.

I disagree, check out the oztrail touring tents. They are bulkier and heavier than nylon, but very durable, and very easy to set up and pack up.
Blackwolf is an excellent brand so that price sounds about right.
For something cheaper I'll add a vote for Coleman tents.

I remember my dad had a canvas 6 person tent when I was young, the thing was so heavy and you needed an engineering degree to erect. LOL I took it once with some mates when I was 15 to go camping. After 4 hours trying to match the poles together we gave up and slept in the car :/
Anyway, the Coleman Instant Up Gold 4P looks good value. Has anyone used this one?
I still cannot quite justify the $$ for a Blackwolf, but apparently they have good poles and joints and stitches and floor etc..
Err a Dog isn't a person. So its a 3 person tent, not a tent for 3 people.

Would definitely recommend Oztrail tourer tent. We picked up one on Gumtree for $200 (which had barely been used - owner said they had used it twice). It is canvas and is extremely quick and easy to put up.

Costco do the Coleman Instant dome 5 for like 100 bucks

both are full of tents where someone bought a tent to take the family camping and were used once as "staying with your family in a confined space for a week was Hell"
