Hotel Stay in around Melbourne CBD in Oct/Nov 17

Hi,

I am looking to travel to Melbourne for a couple of days in next month or so. Looking for good value accommodation.

Flexible with dates, but will be good in next month or so.
Closer to city with a car park if possible will be great.

Does anyone has any recommendation? Used a deal/voucher recently and would like to recommend?

Does anyone has a Scoopen or Groupon they are trying to get rid of? I am happy to pay a fair price?

When exactly in Oct/Nov? First and second week in November are full on Spring Racing Carnival, so it will be hard to find cheap accommodation around this time!

Maybe if you give us some price idea in mind that could narrow down the search. What I find good value might not be considered to some.
