Guys, as a student optometrist, I strongly recommend not buying contact lenses online. There are multiple issues I would like you guys to know before you spend over $100 on these. The first thing is you need to know that this company does not change the the base curve & diameter of the lenses for prescription orders. When you get a script from the optometrist for contact lenses, it contains a specific base curve, diameter and power. All three are needed to make sure the lenses fit your eyes properly. If you wear lenses that are too loose or too tight, they can cause all sorts of issues to your ocular surface. Secondly, as the lenses are not daily disposable and last for a year, they need to be cleaned before and after you use them. If your new to contact lenses and buy these on a whim, you wont know how to properly maintain such lenses and be seriously at risk of catching a corneal infection. This is serious and can cause permanent damage, which potentially can ruin your vision. Thirdly, since these are coloured lenses and have pigment on the surface, it increases the risk of an infection, as studies have shows that bacteria can actually live and grow in the pigmented areas.
