Only have used it four times and it started to overheat and can smell burnt electronics from it when I was charging it from the wall socket. Lucky was there to do so or could be a fire hazard. Just community message to those who bought this to keep an eye out for it since the build quality is.. "Laser quality" (how did they get past QA?). I've lodged a complaint with HN and requesting someone should investigate this in case a recall is needed.
It's great that you were able to get onto this before anything more drastic happened, but just remember that it may be an isolated case? I've got a couple of smaller capacity Laser battery packs and they've been fine, but of course my usage wouldn't be consistent with everyone's experiences either so YMMV.
