Was looking for some professional cleaning service for my 3b house in Syd and came across these Urbanyou guys, overall feedback looks very good and they are giving $30 off bringing cost to $103 for 3.5hours work.
Has anyone else used these guys in OZB community, feedback? Or what things we should ask/check with them prior to booking?
Alternatively, do you guys recommend any other professional cleaning service?
We have a 3 bed, 2 bath house in Sydney and have it cleaned fortnightly. We deal directly with the cleaner and they charge us $75 cash. Husband and wife team, they take around 1.5 hours to get around. Unfortunately I can't give you their details because they aren't taking on new clients at the moment.
We've had a few different cleaners over the past 10 years, some were OK, some were horrible and it took us a while to find someone we thought did a good job (not just OK). I would suggest asking your friends for recommendations as the cost will be less if dealing directly with the cleaner and also you have an idea of how well they clean.
The Urbanyou service just a middleman - not only does this increase the cost but also I would expect you may have different cleaners showing up sometimes.
Sounds like your cleaners are not claiming it on tax
Their tax return is none of my business so I've never had the thought to ask :)
Is that
a) $103 for 3.5 hours work PER cleaner or
b) $103 to clean your 3-bedroom house in 3.5 hours?
I would think it's (A), because $103 to clean your 3 bedroom house sounds way too cheap (even at pre-discount $133, it still sounds too cheap).
