Portable charger with 100000mah fake or real

I found this 100aH portable charger on eBay for like less than $20 and I'm confused whether that's possible. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/100000mAh-Solar-Power-Bank-Panel-…
I think they were supposed to say 10000mAh

Wait so I can charge my iPhone 50 times before I have to recharge my charger?

Yep, I have no idea why we go so crazy for 10,000mAh Xiaomi Power Banks when for the same amount we could have a 100,000mAh Power Bank…!

      • Nope. But it might charge your sarcasm detector, which would've alerted you with a giant warning that Spackbace was totally not being serious.

that powerbank is most likely 5000mah only. You'd be lucky to even squeeze out 10,000mah from it.

for powerbanks, stick with known trustworthy brands, Xiaomi, Anker, TP-Link, etc not generic ones. Generic ones may also be unsafe to use. I wouldn't even consider buying a 'solar' powerbank since you shouldn't expose lithium batteries to direct sun anyway, as it reduces their lifespan dramatically.

      • Do not buy. Fake.

      • Yes and it will only take you 2 months to recharge it.

  • as real as pamela andersons b**bies

All Fake, Impossible to get 100000 MAH in these form Factors. These Company's like to stretch the truth. Just did calculation with one of them. "http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DUAL-USB-SOLAR-POWER-BANK-100000MAH-PORTABLE-EXTERNAL-BATTERY-CHARGER-FOR-PHONE-/192010342014?var=&hash=item2cb4b54e7e" You would need 500 Hours in the Sun to even Get 100000mah
    Specs
2.Solar charger (5V 200mAh, 100000mAh capacity) is in an emergency, no major resource charging, it cost about 45h to a full charge under the direct sun, it will load by wall charger recommended that only cost about some hours.
    3. Charging by output terminal only needs about 10 hours.

Almost tempted to buy one, tear it down, find the real battery capacity, and then put in a Paypal item not as described. But it might also catch fire and/or explode so probably won't.

    • AdosHouse, I would not Bother. Too much Hassle

Anker do a 120,000 mAh Powerbank for $500
    https://www.anker.com/deals/powerhouse2

But I'd rather get 6 20,000mAh ones and a roll of duct tape and save $$$.

    • Or get the Orico 50000mAh. Even takes the similar CN plug with correct voltage.

      • Nice, but not big enough. I decided that I should do this properly.

With a weight vest and enough powerbanks, I can work on my cardio and recharge all the things. And if I work too hard, I've got enough juice for a defib right at hand. I can even add a display to show how much charge I have left.

Sure, it'll look a bit funny, but I really can't see any problems with wandering around the CBD with a whole bunch of blinky lights and stuff wired and taped up to a vest.

  • more likely to be 100000μAh
