Which GTX 1080ti should I get?

Been after a 1080ti for a while. So with the 20% off tech on ebay at the moment, I've picked out a few.

Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Aorus OC - $935.2

MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Duke OC - $959.2

Asus GTX 1080 Ti Strix Gaming - $975.2

Obviously Gigabyte is the cheapest, but is there any worth getting the Strix or the Duke?

Cheers,

Tio

this is ozbargain the least expensive one

    • Not disagreeing, it's local stock, and I can get gst off it due to traveling overseas soon.

So that's another ~10% off, plus local warranty. I'd prefer that over grey import.

      • i've had cards from all the manufacturers you've listed and the best i'd have to say was the asus 980ti strix

if i had a choice i'd go with the asus, but that's just my opinion

  • Get the Strix, unless you can find the EVGA FTW3 cheap

    • Thanks. Strix it is.

On side note, I considered EVGA too, but from what I gather, the brand is a bit overrated.

Nope, its the best. Hence why it has the best warranty. MSI, Gigabyte & Asus all seem to be about the same quality. Have had DOA cards from all of them over the years. Never had an issue with EVGA cards.

  • Thanks peeps. Strix it is.

  • I'd buy the Gigabyte. I've always found them to be cheaper and better overclockers than more expensive cards although looks wise they're appear cheap due to the shroud (nothing to do with performance).

  • Been there before, please get the STRIX. This is a non-XTREME AORUS Gigabyte, you can read reviews about how bad it is. The DUKE has super bad coil whine that is reported by a lot of users.

    • Right, thanks for that. Looks like Strix is the one.

    • Where are the bad reviews? I only saw good ones.

Isn't the Xtreme the same just with a higher factory overclock?
