I've got a keyboard, mouse, monitor. Might be a good idea to get Win 10 as well.
Current PC is hooked up via LAN, but I thought I might as well chuck in wireless capability in case it comes in handy.
My old PC has been surprisingly capable with relatively current games, but PUBG brings it down. I want to be able to run new games for a few years. I like FPS etc, probably happy enough with 1080P.
Alternatively, if there is any reason to think components will get significantly cheaper in the next 6 months odd I can hold out. I've just noticed that prices in general haven't really dropped for a little while.

What monitor are you playing on? If you have some dirt cheap 60hz/1080p monitor the kind of system you buy will be very different to if you have a nice 165hz/1440p monitor.
It's a 120hz 1080P monitor but… it's sort of on the fritz so I'll probably need to get a new one at some stage.
Do you need Windows 10, keyboard, mouse, monitor etc.

Use a lan cable if you can instead if wireless. Latency in online gaming is surprisingly important
1080 gpu may be overkill for first gaming rig. Maybe go a 1070 but upgrade ram and psu with the savings.
You may never use the optical drive but doesn't look like you can remove it.
