  • Everybody have very limited stock.

    • Yeah but there's definitely enough to go around if you're quick! Also great deals on the 6GB cards, haven't seen them so low in a while :) Also, 99 left of the Gigabyte card if the Galax do run out.

  • Upgrade my PC or just buy XBOX One S?

What does the rest of your PC look like?

      • i7 2600 16GB ram, hard disks (no SSD) GTX 460 video card.

The CPU is fine and you can keep the ram (and mobo) if you want to pair it with a 1060. I'd definitely get a SSD. You will not regret it! Plus if you do get an Xbox you'll have to pay for Gold for mutliplayer anyways which adds to the cost.

Wow these are almost back to launch prices

There is an MSI RX580 Armor OC 8GB sold by PC.Byte for $351.2 ($439.00 - 20%). It says more than 10 available. I can't post a link because ebay is not working for me currently.

    • Shite! How did I miss that?! Thanks, edited post :)

      • Cheers :)
There are also a bunch of Gaming X 580s for $399. Higher clocks, LEDs and a backplate compared to the Armor OC may make this a better choice for some.

Those Armor cards don’t have a heatsink for the memory chips either. Not good for miners. I’d go Gaming X every day, they’re such nice cards.

  • Austin had the MSI GTX 1060 6GB Gaming X for $419, discount down to $335 a couple of hours ago. They've removed it now.
Also they've price jacked their remaining cards.

Cheers, I've crossed em out. Just get the RX580 8GB, better buy in my opinion. But yeah, bloody Austin Computers price jacked everything!!

That 185W TDP though. More than a 1080… Not ideal when you like silent AND cool gaming.

        • Just undervolt it, stock comes with way too much voltage anyways. It's easy, anyone with common sense can do it.

        • @AreYouAWiiizard:

To get it down to 120W you'd have noticeably less performance than a 1060 6GB.
I'll just take the GeForce lol.

  • RX580 is now out of stock
