Hey guys,
How regular do you think eBay will be putting out these 20% off deals like the one on now. I am looking to build a PC and do not have money at the moment, but am looking to make it in the next month. Do you think better sales will come up like site wide due to Amazons presence?

been on ebay for a while the best sale i've seen is financial year sales where they usually have 20% off everything non discriminatory
on the other hand they usually have the 20% off tech sale (select stores) like every second fortnight or something similar and its more frequent since amazon announced its entering australia but don't expect it to get better than 20%
non discriminatory sales like the former mentioned are usually better because stores dont really jack up prices before the sale happens.

Won't be very regular anymore as eBay have had too many 20% off sales and cutting into their profit margins. They've had to downgrade cashback as a result.

I looked at the 20% off sale for computer parts, added together a cpu/motherboard/ram combo. I added it all up, and even after the 20% off, they were actually more expensive on ebay than their own website, i did this for both shopping express and futu online. It is absolutely disgusting the price gouging going on atm.
Try creating a new account and buying something, after I made a purchase with the new member voucher, they gave me a subsequent 20% off voucher.

Yeah I noticed that too, they seem to do the 20% pretty regularly, otherwise as wkapri pointed out, a new account usually gets a voucher.
How long did it take for them to send you the new account voucher?
My first one was within a few hours of creating the account and browsing… It seems they noticed I was looking but didn't "buy" anything. I have to admit this was roughly 2 years ago though so it might be different now…
They only run them when you don't need to buy anything, and never run them when you do.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday next month and then Christmas and Boxing day sales the month after. Might be some good deals here is to hoping. Good luck mate.
