Hey fellas
I'm going on a holiday to Sydney in the middle of December for 5 days and may be extended to 7 days and I'm looking for a reasonable price to stay there
(hotel or house), doesn't matter if it is an hour away from the city I have my own car I can drive.
accomadtion should be for 5 adults.
Please share your ideas.

OP didn't specify if people are willing to share a bed or whether they're the hostel type but airbnb was made for 5 adults with a car.
On the flipside, airbnb hosts have failed me before and I would never rely on airbnb in high season. Although a little unfair on hotels, I would at least book a refundable budget hotel in tandem (e.g. Ibis in Enfield) in case things go pear-shaped with the airbnb host a week before. "Mid-December" isn't too risky though.
Sleep at Bondi beach and use free showers in pavilion. I do it lots. I swim in ocean, I read at library and I eat in rock pools.

Can u please elaborate more on how do u sleep at Bondi beach(what stuff do I need to bring)?
