Backpack for Work Suggestions

HI

I need a new backpack for work as current one is not very supportive and I occasionally need to do a bit of walking when I have it with me. Often carry my 12' laptop with me so something that can has a pock or sleeve for that would be helpful.

Any suggestions on brands and where to buy?

thanks

  • Samsonite, American Tourister and Targus make good laptop backpacks. Check out bagworld.com.au if they have any special discounts on them. I would also check TK Maxx store if you have any around.

LL Bean and The North Face are also very good brands but not sure if they are available here.

  • Hi
I've been using the Crumpler Red Dry no5 (https://www.crumpler.com/au/dry-red-no-6/) for a few months now and rate it highly in terms of practicality and quality of the product. I walk and travel a lot for work. Comfortably holds a few books, papers, laptop, lunch box, bottle etc…
It goes on sale relatively regularly, I picked mine up from rushfaster.com.au earlier this year for about $90

  • Try finding a decent backpack without a laptop sleeve these days, nearly impossible.

  • I'd suggest looking at the north face range. I've got two and they're both bulletproof. There are definitely higher quality bags out there but I find my north face bags to be extremely versatile and still really good quality.

  • I'm using a Herschel Pop Quiz for work. It has a padded area for a laptop.

Got it from Rushfaster during one of their many sales.

  • I have great experience with Swissgear. They are always at fair price, basic professional look, and you can fit a world inside!

  • I’ve been using the same ikea backpack for two years now. It’s very light but comfy and room for laptop. I think it cost about 20 bucks. Only problem is it’s bright pink and I’d like a more subtle colour for my next backpack but this one is far from giving up on me.
