        I've read it's good. I'm in the Forza camp myself, but gota love competition. It would be sad if there was only Sony, as they would just tell you to work harder when their consoles are priced at 2k.. lol..
        I'm not a fan of all the rabid sledging that happens online. Play and smile.

        It's a great game, but it's online only and the races are specific times (eg: Next race at 19:00, register and set a qualifying time) and specific track/car.
        There is single player arcade mode but no offline career.

        its a must have. it is unreal.. so much fun, looks incredible too.. im not really even into the online yet, just a few but its fun.. mainly going through the missions or campaign. people say theres no campaign or non-online content are nuts, theres soo much.. kaz has also state they're going to deliver heaps more too..

          Try disconnecting your PS4 from the internet and see how far you get. You can't play the campaign or missions if you don't have an internet connection, you can only play the arcade mode, you're locked out of everything else, that's what people are complaining about.

          I must disclose that I'm also in the Forza/Xbox camp. I'm actually more of a racing game fan, I never had a reason for getting a PS4 as there were no GT for it until now.

          I just got a PS4 pro a long with a copy of GTS and now regret getting it so earlier because of this awesome deal! I should have waited.

          The campaign mode is more like a whole bunch of mini games to teach you how to race. "Driving school" teaches you driving techniques, "Mission challenges" teaches you racing techniques, and "Track experience" allows you to familiarise yourself to the track and learn the best line to take. There is no racing championship in the campaign mode, that's why people are saying there is no campaign. A Campaign is meant to be like a story you play through(in the case of a racing game, it's a racing careers where you start as a noob and become number 1), not a bunch of tutorials/mini games.

          Don't get me wrong, I don't hate GTS, I actually like it, it has taught me valuable racing technique which I can then use in Forza. It's a good complimentary game to play a long with Forza.

          Both Forza and GTS have their pros and cons, they have both taken very different routes, but if you're a mad racing game fan, then you'll enjoy both for what they're worth.

          i see two sides to the connection thing, ive noticed 3 maintenance windows already, one caught me and i was sitting there ready to take on this mt.panorama challenge i was stoked on, but couldnt do anything for two hours and it was frustrating. but guess what, i turned on the motogp at phillip island and life went on…. this issue is more a complaint of their maintenance notifications and new game teething problems but it does highlight some concerns. hell even if only i just wanted to use the livery editor (which i am loving), i wouldnt be able to cause its all online save. they need to enable some things without a connection to provide at least some content that can be updated later on for those type of situations..

          however, this is an online focussed game, plain and simple. its all saved online, to prevent cheating and whatnot with the idea being that you become part of a global racing community tracking your achievements and times against each other.. to be honest i dont have a problem with that at all. its 2017, if you don't have a 24x7 internet connection then move or take up a new hobbie. go buy a little sports car and do real track days if you're popping veins in your neck over it.

          to be honest, ive been gaming since 1983… i do not need another racing game where its all 'started from the bottom, now im here' where im racing against endless boring AI opoonents. got better things to do, theres enough of that in the missions and it is fun. i dont need to do it 500 times. i understand some people love this and theres a whole subsection of 'ive played every GT sport omg no campaign im losing my mind' people out there, but, (profanity), evolve. also, i believe more content like that is probably going to come to the game in time, anyhow. i think theres plenty in there for both sides, but this game has a grandiose scope of being a global virtual track and raceday community.. recognise the vision.

        GT Sport is disappointing. If you're offline, there's very little you can play in it.

        And, then there's the whole DLC mess. Anyone that got pre-order bonuses or bought the Day One/Steelbook/Collectors Editions will find they didn't get all of their digital content (Sony are aware of this, but it's unknown if/when it will be fixed).

    The Witcher III GOTY edition for $35 is a good price. Cheapest local copy there is - EB has it too for $35, but it's pre-owned and much harder to find than Big W's.
