Opinion on These 3D Printers Please?

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about getting into 3D printing, and I was looking at some kits on gearbest that's relatively cheap, because I'm just trying this out, I'm not too sure how deep I will get into this.

These are the ones that I think look alright, but which one do you guys recommend? (or if you have other suggestion, please chime in too!)

  • I have an Anet A8 which has been modded to AM8. Personally if I were to start again I would go with the Tevo. Don't get me wrong, A8 is a great printer to learn about 3d printing and I have seen great results from it.

    • Thanks! I heard that building the printer is not so straightforward but not too hard, but what did you find the most frustrating from building a kit to actually printing something with it?

  • It is pretty straightforward, YMMV. Check out this link for good info about the Anet A8, https://3dprint.wiki/reprap/anet/a8. There are Anet A8 assembly videos on youtube, watch them and determine if you are confident with the assembling (the video is generally correct with some minor mistakes).
I don't own a Tevo but heard good things about it.
