Phone case and screen protector?

Just got a s7 edge and have no idea the trusted phone case and screen protector brands? Are the shopping centre phone stalls good? overpriced? Do I apply my own screen protector or better off to get a store to do it for me?

I want mid-high range protection, so just not the cheap stuff.

Spigen?
OtterBox?
other?

Are the shopping centre phone stalls good? overpriced?

The shopping centres and even the phone shops like Telstra and Voda all sell goods directly sourced from China and Alibaba. You can get very similar quality stuff from eBay for 40% and sometimes even 10% of the in-store RRP prices.
A store I used to go to sells "tempered glass" for $80 dollars when it's just a $10 part you see on Aliexpress.

Spigen is fine. Nillkin is also a good brand.

Dbrand is fine if you want skins, but skins don't offer shock protection, so it's more of a anti scratch thing.

With S7 Edge, the screen is curved meaning glass protectors won't work very well as there is a chance it'll just collect dust on the 'edge' and peel off accidentally. I think the soft plastic type works best.

  • I like the otter box ones! Is stong and come with screen protect. One time 1 man drop from building YouTube a ok! Iphone

  • you can buy otter boxes on ebay for at least half the price you'll get in store

  • Definitely go for both. Shopping malls mght have higher prices but conveniently install everything one time! would not try to do it myself.

  • S7 Edge screen protectors will either not cover the whole screen because of the curved edge, OR, reduce sensitivity on your screen if you do go fullscreen
