Hot Wheels Basic Diecast Cars 5 for $5, They make great Xmas stocking stuffers.
Oh I'm so there!!!!
… who else went and hid the ones they wanted in another section?
Hehe, any tips on a good hiding spot?
You can be legit and lay-by it, or put it inside the plastic-storage buckets in the laundry section.
Thanks OP. I'll have a look but always found Hot Wheels to be on the tacky side. I always liked the ones that were based on real cars and never went for the modified or fictitious ones. Matchbox were the best back in the day but you don't see them much anymore and when you do, it isn't like the ones I had as a kid in the 80s.
Majorette seem to be closest with what I had as a kid but they can be hard to find. Also came across Siku recently that make some very nice (mostly german) cars.
Those old matchbox cars were the best. Fond childhood memories racing those around as kids.
I have a whole box of them at home from the early 90s in Ok condition. Any value in them?
Unfortunately not. Matchbox cars have dropped in value to almost nothing
Shame the wheel/tyre combo I need for a Wild Willy project is $7 minimum for the Halo Gungoose or Warthog.
A buck for basics is good — parity with 'murica.
