What Coles Flybuys Spending for Points Offers Have You Received?

I am trying to find out what min spending/max points and max spending/min points offers Flybuys ever sends out. Mine is $40/2000 pts and $220/500 pts

Early this year I had to spend big at Coles and scanned my Flybuys card every time. After a couple of months I saw the offer jumped to $220/500 pts or spending $200 each week for 4 weeks to get 2000 pts. Then I decided to cool it down. For three months I only scanned Flybuys card for small purchases at Coles, a couple of times a months. I did see the spending requirement dropped. Latest offer was $50 for 1000 pts and I thought it was the lowest spending requirement but it expired yesterday. Today I saw a new offer $40 for 2000. I am wondering shall I wait for a better deal or start building up the points again now.

  • My last was 4x $50 spend / 10,000 points

    • +1

Same here.. I was two weeks in when I got the Woolies Google Home mini offer.. Finally spent the last two weeks of the Coles shopping stocking on canned goods and non-perishables.

Still felt bad shopping for grocery at two places :(

  • My last lot which is just about to finish up is spend $90 a week for 4 weeks for 4000 points.

Now Woolies on the other hand keep sending me emails with point offers like Coles does but I barely go there, the closest store is further away than Coles and Aldi / shuts earlier than Coles / doesn't have self serve (and the store needs a makeover too) etc.

  • 2000points for a $40 spend is a good offer. These days you don't get anything better. I got this offer as well but I was using a different card this week to complete the current 4 week ($50 target) offer so I didn't use the other offer. It will be interesting to see what they offer next on that card.

I think I have seen offers of 1000 points for $30 but these are very rare. The usual minimum target spend is usually $50. The points incentives vary from time to time.

  • I got a $40 spend for 2000 points offer as well. I'll probably buy some long term stuff if I can find a good price and transfer the points across to Velocity with the current offer for 15% bonus.

  • I got $40 for 2000 as well the last little while, did it consecutively for 4000 then I missed the following one. Now they only offer me measly 1000 for $50 spend which for me, being single is not enough incentive to spend big at Coles.
