Recommend Me a Retailer/Online Store Where I Can Buy The Best Priced ASICS Gel Kayano 24

Hi All,

I am a big fan of Asics Kayano's and have completely worn out my current pair of shoes. Looking to replace them with 24's model, but dont want to be paying $260 as they currently sell them in store. Can anyone recommend me a retailer/online store where I can buy the best priced/ quality Asics Gel Kayano 24's? Are there any upcoming sales I should wait for?

Thank you

  • Does it have to be Kayano 24's? If not, you can go to the DFO outlets they sell the 23's for bargain prices when on sale.
Or you can go buy them from CATCH. 24's around $180ish, 23's around $150ish

  • +1

Catch eBay store when there's a discount, i.e. 20% off?

Does it have to be GEL-Kayano 24? There's substantial discount when you buy previous models. Although 24 seems to be rated better than 23.

    • I've tried on both 23's and 24's and the 24's seem to fit me much better. Otherwise would just go with previous model.
Does Catch sell quality items? I've never bought from them before.
Also tried the DFO's in Alexandria without much luck, if there are others you can recommend I may give that a go.

      • Catch has been around for more than 10 years. Bought a pair of New Balance Zante v3 from them in their previous sale and it was fine — quite a bit of discount as well.

      • Are 24s a wider fit? I've heard that 23s are quite narrow in comparison to previous models.

        • They have a wider option 2E, but i'm after D which is standard size

        • @sagrules:
Thanks for that. Did you find 23s' standard size too narrow?

        • @poiuy1234: From trying both on the 24s seem to be softer. No didn't have any issues with it being too narrow.

  • I purchased some a month or so ago when runningwarehouse.com.au had a 30% discount code. I got them for $150 delivered.

    • Same, purchased from the same sale for future use when my current 23 is fully worn. Best thing is that Running Warehouse is an official Asics Australia stockist.

Catch, on the other hand, is not an official Australian stockist. Bought my Kayano 22 from Catch eBay sale, and, within 12 months of heavy usage, there were torn holes around the shoe collar and tongue.

Bought my Kayano 23 from a similar Rebel sale and as of today with heavy usage, there are no holes.

Could possibly be unfortunate wear and tear or manufacturing quality issues but then again, cannot fully confirm the authenticity of the shoes Catch sources from other markets.

With that said, I am not alluding that Catch sells fakes but if you want peace of mind, wait for an official stockist sale and buy from them.

You can try Sportitude. They often have some decent sales.

  • $147 for the next 25 mins

I combined it with my $25 off Auspost offer plus Amex spend $100 get $10 back
    I paid $112 + $6.50 clubcatch/delivery..I also received $2.72 via cashrewards. Total cost to me was $115.78.
