Anyone EVER Got Their Order before The Estimate Delivery Date? (Vodafone AU)

I ordered the iPhone X on preorder day roughly after10~15 minute due to the constant crashing but I thought I was safe cos I received an email right after that from vodafone telling me the shipping date will be between 1~3 weeks.

I don't really mind getting it late as long as it's before 24th Dec this year since I'm going away on a vacation for 3 months or so.

Then I get an email from vodafone again just today telling me the shipping date has changed from 1~3 weeks to 28th DEC (SHIPPING) 29TH (ESTIMATE DELIVERY).

I was pretty pissed about it so I contacted vodafone asking if there was any way to get it earlier than 28th and they told me the shipping date is between 3~6 weeks.

Now they gave me 3 different estimate shipping dates and Im pissed, confused and worried.

So, as title suggests, has anyone gotten their phone earlier than the estimate from vodafone?

TLDR: Initially promised 1~3 weeks delivery but vodafone changed it to 28th DEC then gave me another different estimate.

UPDATE: OK. I think Vodafone pretty much F***ed up their system or something cos I checked the track site again and it says my order is coming. WTF.

    I spoke with a guy at the store the other day and all the vendors have no idea when they are getting more stock. At the Vodafone store, they were taking orders for phones supposedly coming in January, so.. good luck!

    I’ve seen this come up on twitter. I don’t think there’s a lot you can do about it. Maybe they’ll let those who can’t wait cancel their orders.

    Worst case you get it shipped to a trusted friend , family member or work and enjoy your new toy when you get home!

    Wait for reservations to open up on the Apple Site on the 4.11 at 6AM and reserve one at your apple store.

    You can contract with Vodafone/Telstra/Optus I believe in an Apple store and get the handset much sooner
