Hi all i signed up for the 20000 bonus points with amex by getting their ezicover life insurance per ozb post:

Seems like everyones gotten their free points within days of their first premium being deducted in the following month etc. I did monthly so i began my free month but days after starting i decided to prepay annually and switch as slight discount.
Since 11 july paying it i havent received my points. It's clear somethings wrong as everyone else got them straight away.
Any suggestions? I keeo getting handballed from amex to zurich with varying responses from not knowing or dealing with the promo or to the other party being responsible for notifying for the bonus points.
My eventual brick wall is they quote 6 months t and cs to pay it.
Yeah sure… but clearly everyone else got it straight away and ive fallen through the cracks. I'm suspecting my decision to switch from monthly to annual prepayment has screwed me over as so far everyone else who has selected annual upfront (not changed after signup from monthly) also got their points upfront.
Any suggestions or who would be responsible in the assigning of points. Amex? Surely amex can see my charge on julys statement. Would like the points asap.
Yeah I would think it's Amex. But yeah think you rocked the boat when you switch payment frequency. Bad luck.
