Prescription Reading Glasses Where to Buy

Hi. Had first eye test at 35 and now require reading glasses. Got test through opsm. Can you recommend a company that does cheap glasses with prescription lens. Thanks.

    Try Zenni Optical.

I bought a couple of pairs for around $70ish delivered. Takes a few weeks to arrive, but totally worth it.

If your prescription is mild, you can buy up to + 2 (I think) in a $2 shop!

I agree, Zenni Optical is good, as is Clearly.com.au.
    Ive used both.

Use the 'try on' feature, where you upload a picture of yourself and try the frames. You need to know your frame sizes though, so you may need to find a frame you like in a b&m shop, try frames, and write down sizes (check website first so you know what to look for). Most specs have sizes on the inside 'arm' of the frame. The sizes are important so you get frames that fit properly

  • Try coles . better quality and cheaper than other. ( not$2 shop ).

  • Opsm does $99 complete pair. Vogue. Armani exchange. Sfeeoflex. In all stores.

If you ever suffer with headaches don’t buy off the shelf readers. Best to get frames that have the correct script in each lens.

  • I have prescription glasses, but I just have a bunch of the magnifier ones for reading. They are scattered through the house

  • DO you have Private Health Extras? go to Specsavers with your prescription and get a pair fitted that are covered by your health fund, you get 100% back up to your limit

  • Hi. Ended up getting $39 pair from specsavers which includes lenses etc. Pair was basic but looked fine and has a 2 year warranty. Opsm had a $99 range with garish designs that demanded the buyer be blind. Didn't have p insurance but as comments, some 100% rebates.
Got initial prescriptions from opsm then got another from specsavers just to be sure.
