Christmas Holiday Ideas - 7-10 Days for 2 People

Cant think of where to go for a short 7-10 day break.
Europe is a bit too far for such a short trip so wouldn't be cost effective.

Just for my GF and myself from Sydney

I traveled to Japan, China and korea earlier this year so doubt we'd go there again so soon.

Any ideas?
