14" laptop with backlit keyboard

Hi,

Looking for a good laptop with the following minimum specs: 14" screen (don't want anything over 15"), 400gb, 4gb ram, i5, webcam, bluetooth and backlit keyboard. My budget is $950 with postage.

I found the following laptops, however the screen size is too big and they don't have backlit keyboards.

  • I could be wrong about this, but I had the idea that with a lot of laptops, if you don't mind opening them yourself, it may not be too hard to buy a replacement keyboard part that has backlit keys? A quick search on eBay reveals about 2000 such keyboard parts at around $20-50 each, but it may of course be a little hard to find a specific one without a part number or something, and it probably won't even exist for some models of laptops…

Edit: On searching a little further I found one for my own laptop, which I'm tempted to buy considering it's $28 posted.

15% off with code AUPRECHRISTMAS makes it AU$789.65

I would upgrade it and chuck in a 2.0 Inbuilt Webcam for $38.50 and maybe a 9-cell battery for $40.

Comes well under your budget of $950.

EDIT- Didn't see your spec requirements :(
Going through Lenovo and adding the extra RAM, Bluetooth and upgrading the HDD, it would come to AU$930.24
Bluetooth costs $15.40 as an upgrade from Lenovo.
    HDD costs $50.

But it's still under budget :D
