IF you intend to keep the car, buy a unit with Android or Apple car play.

  • I've had a few similar ones with wince operating system. Ok, but not great. Advertise they have everything, but don't do anything fantastically well.
Lost of issues from the four (not all on each):
No random play from sd card music.
    Poor quality radio reception
GPS software glitches (make sure you take a backup before using)
One will only read from SD card in the root directory, no search.
Terrible Bluetooth for phone either you need to turn up the volume to near max every time you are on a call (then blow your eardrums when the call ends) or need to manually connect each time you get in the car.
Old school touch screen, single touch, requires using fingernail to get accuracy

Cheap, but you get what you pay for. Will probably replace the one in my wife's car soon with something with a brand name.

  • Thanks, thought so. Ended up buying Sony xAV-w651BT , price matched at SCA for 230$. Comes with 3 yr warranty. No GPS, but NAV ready

    • Good move. These units are normally crap.

  • Would look for Android 2din Octa core Android unit.
We have an older Tiida with a Windows CE based system incl GPS and reverse, works great.
Also already got an Android Quad core for my other car.
When either of them needs replacing will go for the Android Octa core units and 2GB Ram.
