Using Cashrewards in an App?

Just wondering if it's possible to use Cash Rewards in an app? Asking because Groupon offers a higher discount when you purchase from their app, but I would like to get the cashback too (as any true OzBargainer would). Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Purchases made using the Groupon App are now eligible for rewards as long as the following conditions are met:

    Download & install the Groupon App from iTunes or Google Play.
    From your preferred mobile browser, you MUST begin from a logged-in Cashrewards session and search for Groupon on your phone/tablet.
    When you tap 'Shop Now' or 'Go to Store', your device will automatically open the Groupon App, or you will be presented with an option to download the App.
    If the App opens automatically, great. You're on your way.
    If the App does not open automatically, select 'Download' at top of screen and the App will open.
    Shop as normal.
    Cashback is NOT payable on ANY Gift Cards, eGift Cards or Value Vouchers purchased through Groupon.

    Rewards may not be paid if a coupon code is used that is not listed on this site.

    Questions already been answered above in terms of Groupon, but just for anyone looking for cash rewards for other apps, sometimes it won't allow it.

    Eg

    Cashrewards is NOT payable on the Asos App.
